Website design and development that does more than look good
Your website has one goal: bring in business. We build sites that load fast, work on every device, and turn visitors into customers.
Most websites are built backwards
Here’s how it usually goes. Someone picks a theme, drops in a logo, adds stock photos, and calls it done. It looks okay. Maybe even pretty. But nobody asked the questions that matter: who’s going to find this site, what are they looking for, and what should happen when they get here.
We start from the other end.
Discovery. It’s the first three weeks of every project. The result is a site that’s built around how people actually find you and what makes them pick up the phone.
Discovery first
We research your market, your competitors, and your keywords before we design a single page.
Built to be found
Every page is structured for search engines. Not as an afterthought. From the start.
Speed matters
Fast load times, clean code, mobile-first. If it's slow on a phone, it's not done yet.
Conversion focused
Every element has a job: get the visitor to call, book, or fill out a form.
Design and development as one process, not two
A lot of agencies split web design and web development into separate departments. The designers make something pretty in Figma, throw it to the developers, and then everyone argues about why it doesn’t work as built.
We don’t operate that way. Design and development happen together from day one. Every layout decision is made knowing exactly how it will be coded. Every piece of functionality is considered while the design is still being shaped. The result is a website that looks right and works right, without the back-and-forth that burns time and budget.
This matters more than most people think. ild responsive fromA site that looks great but loads in six seconds is useless. So is a fast site that nobody can navigate. The only fix is building both at once.
Custom websites
Not templates with your logo swapped in. We design each site around your business, your customers, and your goals. That means custom layouts, purposeful typography, and a structure that guides visitors toward calling you or filling out a form. We design in the browser when possible, so you see real, working pages early in the process instead of flat mockups that look nothing like the final product.
WordPress development
WordPress runs about 40% of the web for a reason. It’s flexible, it’s mature, and your team can update content without calling us. We build WordPress sites from scratch or from starter themes. Not off-the-shelf templates loaded with plugins you don’t need. Every plugin we install has a reason. Every feature we skip has a reason too.
E-commerce
Online stores need more than a product grid and a checkout button. They need fast page loads, clear product organization, secure payments, and a checkout flow that doesn’t make people give up halfway through. We build on WooCommerce for stores that need deep WordPress integration, and Shopify for businesses that want a simpler setup with fewer moving parts.
Website redesigns
Sometimes you don’t need a brand new site. You need the one you have to work better. We’ll look at your current site, figure out where visitors are dropping off, and rebuild the pieces that aren’t pulling their weight. Sometimes that’s the whole thing. Sometimes it’s the homepage and three service pages. We’ll tell you which approach saves money and gets results faster.
Custom web development
Booking systems, client portals, API integrations, membership sites, interactive tools. If your project needs functionality that off-the-shelf solutions can’t handle, we build it. Our stack is flexible. PHP, JavaScript, React when it makes sense. The technology follows the requirements, not the other way around.
Our web development
process
Step 1: Discovery and strategy
We start by figuring out what your website needs to do. Not what it should look like. What it needs to accomplish. Who are your customers? How do they find you? What do you want them to do on your site? We look at your competition, your current analytics, and your business goals. This step keeps us from building the wrong thing.
Step 2: Design
With strategy locked, we move to design. Wireframes first: rough layouts that show structure without getting distracted by colors and fonts. Once the structure works, we move to full visual design. You'll see real pages, not abstract mood boards. Revisions happen here, before any code is written.
Step 3: Development
We deploy to a staging environment so you can test on your actual phone before anything goes live. Performance is a priority at every step. A site that looks great but loads slowly isn't done yet.
Step 4: Content and SEO setup
We add your content, optimize page titles and descriptions, set up Google Analytics and Search Console, submit your sitemap, and make sure your site is ready to be found. Basic on-page SEO is part of every project. For ongoing SEO work, see our SEO services.
Step 5: Launch and handoff
Your site goes live. We walk you through how to make basic updates. Add a blog post, change a photo, update your phone number. You get a recording of the training session so you can refer back to it. We stick around after launch to fix anything that comes up in the first 30 days.
Plugin patches and WordPress core updates applied within two business days of release. Tested on staging first.
No templates, no cookie-cutter layouts. Every project starts from your business goals.
Almost a third of every project goes into research, strategy, and understanding your business before we write a line of code.
What's included in every project
- Custom design, not a reskinned template
- Mobile-responsive development
- Core Web Vitals optimization (speed, layout stability, interactivity)
- Basic on-page SEO (title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text)
- Contact forms that actually deliver emails
- Google Analytics and Search Console setup
- SSL certificate
- Training session so you can make your own updates
- 30 days of post-launch support
We don’t nickel-and-dime on things that should be standard. SSL, mobile optimization, and analytics setup are part of the build, not add-ons.

What does website design and development cost?
Straightforward answer: most of our projects fall between $1,000 and $10,000.
A small business website with five to seven pages, contact forms, and mobile optimization sits at the lower end. A full e-commerce site with inventory management, a large redesign with content migration, or a build with custom functionality pushes toward the higher end.
We quote every project individually after understanding what you need. No ballpark guesses that double later. No hourly billing that punishes you if we hit a snag. You’ll know the price before we start, and that price won’t change unless you add scope.

Frequently asked questions.
How long does it take to build a website?
Four to eight weeks for a typical business site. E-commerce and custom builds can take eight to twelve. We'll give you a timeline before we start and keep you updated if anything shifts.
Do I need to provide the content?
We can work with content you provide, or we can write it for you at an additional cost. Most clients have a rough idea of what they want to say. We shape it into copy that sounds like them and works for the web.
What if I already have a website I like but it's slow or outdated?
We can audit your current site and figure out what needs fixing. Sometimes it's a rebuild on clean code. Sometimes it's targeted performance work. We'll recommend whatever gets you the best result for the budget.

What happens after launch?
You get 30 days of post-launch support for anything that comes up. After that, we offer monthly maintenance plans that cover updates, backups, security, and ongoing tweaks.
Can you integrate with tools I already use?
Probably. We've worked with CRM systems, booking platforms, payment processors, email marketing tools, and review management software. Tell us what you're using and we'll let you know what's possible.
What about hosting?
We'll recommend a hosting provider based on your needs and budget. We don't lock you into our own hosting, but we can manage it for you if you want.
