Website maintenance that keeps your site fast, safe, and working
WordPress updates, security monitoring, daily backups, and speed optimization. We handle it so you don’t have to think about it.
Websites break quietly
Nobody calls to tell you your contact form stopped working. Google doesn’t send a notification when your site drops to a 40 on PageSpeed. And WordPress won’t warn you that the plugin you haven’t updated in eight months has a known security vulnerability.
Most Sarasota business owners find out something’s wrong with their site when a customer mentions it. Or when leads dry up. Or when their site shows a white screen on a Monday morning.
A maintenance plan catches problems before they become emergencies. Updates tested on staging, backups running daily, security scanned automatically. You get a monthly report showing what happened. Otherwise, you don’t hear from us.
Regular updates
WordPress core, plugins, and themes updated monthly. Tested on staging before going live.
Security monitoring
Daily malware scans, firewall management, and real-time alerts if anything looks wrong.
Automated backups
Daily backups stored offsite. If something breaks, we restore your site to any point in the last 30 days.
Monthly reporting
A clear summary of what was updated, what was fixed, and how your site is performing.
What happens to websites that don't get maintained
This isn’t scare tactics. It’s math.
Every plugin, every theme, and WordPress itself gets regular security patches. When those updates don’t get installed, vulnerabilities pile up. A hacked WordPress site costs an average of $3,000-$5,000 to clean up and restore. A maintenance plan that would have prevented it costs less than $100 a month.
Speed degrades too. Database bloat, unoptimized images, outdated caching configurations. Your site gets a little slower every month you’re not paying attention. Your rankings slip and your bounce rate climbs, and by the time you realize there’s a problem, you’ve already lost traffic.
Content edits
Phone number changed? New photo? Updated hours? Small edits are included. You don’t need to email us a support ticket for a five-minute fix.
WordPress core updates
Core, plugins, and themes updated monthly. We apply updates on a staging copy first, check for conflicts, then push to your live site. If an update breaks something, we catch it before your visitors do.
Security monitoring
Daily malware scans, login protection, firewall management, and file change alerts. If your site gets compromised, we know immediately and start cleanup. On our Premium plan, full restoration is included.
Uptime and speed monitoring
Checked every 5 minutes, around the clock. If your site goes down, we get an alert and start working before your morning traffic hits. Quarterly Core Web Vitals audit, image optimization, database cleanup, and caching review. Sites slow down over time. We keep yours where it should be.
Daily backups
Automated and stored offsite. If anything goes wrong, we restore your site to any point in the last 30 days. We’ve used this for clients in Bradenton who accidentally deleted pages and for a Lakewood Ranch e-commerce store that had a plugin conflict take the whole site down.
Hosting management
We don’t host sites ourselves, but we manage yours. DNS, SSL renewals, PHP updates, server-side caching, and dealing with hosting support when there’s an issue. We recommend SiteGround or Cloudways for most Gulf Coast clients, but we’ll work with whatever you’re on.
How we onboard your site
Step 1: Site health check
Before we touch anything, we run a full scan. CMS version, plugin inventory, security audit, speed test, backup status. We document everything and fix any urgent issues in the first week. Think of it as catching up on deferred maintenance. This is included in your first month.
Step 2: Set up monitoring and backups
We connect your site to our monitoring systems. Automated backups, uptime checks, security scans, and performance tracking go live. From this point, your site is covered.
Step 3: Ongoing maintenance
From month two on, everything runs on schedule. Updates, backups, scans, reports. You get a monthly email showing what was done. If something needs your attention, we flag it. Otherwise, your site just works.

How our WordPress builds are different
No heavy page builders
We don’t use any heavy visual page builder. They add hundreds of kilobytes of JavaScript and CSS to every page, slow down the site, and create vendor lock-in. Our sites use clean HTML, CSS, and PHP. You can switch developers without rebuilding everything.
Minimal plugins
A typical WordPress site from another agency has 25-40 plugins installed. Ours have 8-15. Every plugin we install has a specific reason. Every plugin we skip has a reason too. Fewer plugins means fewer updates, fewer conflicts, fewer things that can break.
Custom fields,
not builder blocks
We use Advanced Custom Fields to give you a clean editing experience. Instead of dragging and dropping blocks in a visual editor (and accidentally breaking the layout), you fill in structured fields: headline, body text, image, call to action. The design stays consistent no matter who’s editing.
Performance built in
We don’t build the site first and optimize it later. Caching, image optimization, lazy loading, minimal JavaScript, proper font loading. It’s all part of the development process. A site that scores 90+ on PageSpeed at launch should still score 90+ a year later if it’s properly maintained.
Built for businesses that depend on their website
We maintain sites for contractors, law firms, medical practices, restaurants, and e-commerce stores across Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg. Most run WordPress. All of them need their sites working every day without thinking about it.
About a third of our maintenance clients have sites we didn’t build. We take those on too. We run the health check first, fix what needs fixing, then bring it into our system.
If your site is on Shopify or Squarespace, reach out and we’ll tell you if we can help.

Frequently asked questions.
Common questions about our maintenance plans, what’s included, and how we work.
Do I need a maintenance plan if my site is brand new?
Especially if it's new. The first few months are when you want everything stable while Google indexes your pages and your traffic builds.
How much does website maintenance cost per month?
$99 to $499 depending on what your site needs. Most small business sites in Sarasota fit the $99 or $249 plan. E-commerce and high-traffic sites usually need Premium.
What if I already use Wordfence or a security plugin?
Plugins flag issues. People fix them. We're the people. A security plugin that sends an alert nobody reads doesn't protect anything.
Can I switch plans?
Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade month to month. No penalty.

What counts as a content edit?
Updating text, swapping a photo, changing a phone number, adding a blog post you've written. Quick fixes. Bigger work like new page sections or layout changes is quoted separately.
What if my site gets hacked on the Essential plan?
We'll help. Cleanup on Essential and Growth is billed at $90/hr. On Premium, it's included. That's the main reason higher-stakes businesses pick that plan.
Do you maintain sites you didn't build?
Yes. About a third of our maintenance clients came to us with sites built by someone else. Health check first, then onboarding.
Do you handle hosting?
We don't host sites, but we manage your hosting. Setup, DNS, SSL, PHP updates, support calls. Included in every plan.
