Online preschool website design

An online preschool was already running live classes, but it had no real website. We built the full package: brand, copy, design, a color system pulled from the logo, Stripe payments for every course, a review system, and an SEO foundation. From a logo and a class schedule to a site that enrolls students and takes payment on day one.

Task

Launch a complete site for an online preschool from almost nothing. Full copywriting from a minimal brief, information architecture, a color palette matched to the school's logo, a mix of real photography and 3D graphics, Stripe payments so parents can pay for any course online, a review-collection system, on-page SEO, and trust pages for the school and contact.

BACKGROUND

A real school with no home online

Rise and Shine is an online preschool for ages 3 to 5, built by an experienced early-childhood teacher. The teaching was real and already happening. The curriculum and the students were already there.

What didn’t exist was the business around it. Beyond a logo and some class video, there was almost nothing online. No real site, and no way for a parent to find the school and pay for a course without a back-and-forth. The founder came to us knowing she needed a website, but not what it should say or how it should be built.

The challenge

Making the grade before class starts

Online early learning is a crowded, template-heavy category. Parents are handing a stranger their three-year-old over a screen, so trust has to be earned in the first few seconds. A solo school doesn’t have a national brand or a marketing budget to lean on. And the first new session was already on the calendar, so this couldn’t be a slow build.

The question we had to answer: how do you take an experienced teacher and a handful of raw materials, and turn that into a site that reads as trustworthy and takes payment before the next session fills up?

WHAT WE DID

Brand and site, built in one sprint

01.

Full copy, written from scratch

There was almost no source material to start from, so we drew the school’s story out over a few conversations and wrote every word on the site. The teacher’s experience became the spine of the messaging, the way a credential anchors a professional practice. A parent lands on the page and knows within seconds who’s teaching and what the school stands for.

02.

Information architecture built around a parent's decision

We mapped the whole site from scratch. A home page that tells the school’s story, an About page that builds trust in the teacher, a Reviews section, and a Contact page. Every block answers a specific question a parent asks before enrolling a young child.

03.

A design that earns trust, not a template

Preschool sites tend to go one of two ways: loud primary colors, or cartoon clip-art that could belong to any school. We went warmer and more personal, built on the real teacher’s face, so the site reads the way a good first visit to a class feels.

04.

A color palette pulled straight from the logo

Rather than invent a palette, we sampled it from the school’s existing logo, so the site and the mark belong to the same world. Every button and background ties back to the brand the school already had, instead of a generic theme dropped on top.

05.

Stripe payments and a review system

We connected Stripe so parents can pay for any course directly, with enrollment and payment in one flow instead of a contact form and a wait. We also built a review-collection system, so the school’s social proof grows on its own with every session.

06.

On-page SEO and trust pages

On-page SEO across every page, clean metadata, and fully written trust pages for the school and contact, so the site is set up to rank and to convert from launch. It’s the same on-page work behind our web design and web development in Sarasota pages, applied to a school.

VISUAL DIRECTION

Warm and personal

Preschool sites usually default to loud primary colors or generic cartoon art that could belong to any school. We went a different way. The design leads with real photos of the teacher, uses a palette taken straight from the school’s logo, and adds light 3D graphics to keep it friendly. The result feels like the actual class, not a stock template with a school name dropped on top.

Meadow Green

We didn’t design a palette and hope it fit the brand. We pulled it straight from the school’s logo, so the site and the mark belong to the same world. Meadow green owns the enroll button, the one action that matters most on the page.

Sunrise coral handles the nav and secondary actions, while the warm amber and orange carry the energy through the rest of the site. Cocoa brown grounds the headings and body copy where the page needs to feel steady, and warm peach keeps the backgrounds soft so the content stays readable on every device.
